Kennewick Police and Fire did not elaborate, but a passed-out woman found Thursday in the parking lot at Lowe's was in a stolen car.
A concerned citizen calls authorities
The call came in from a customer at Lowe's who noticed the woman appearing to be "passed out" (as opposed to snoozing) in the car.
Kennewick Fire units responded the 29-year-old woman was apparently awakened. But when Kennewick Police ran the plates and VIN, the car came back stolen out of Pasco last week. The car was a 1990's Honda Accord. Her name was not released.
The woman is now in the Benton County jail facing auto theft and other multiple warrants, according to KPD
