Person Struck By Airplane Near Quincy, But Survives!

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, this person is lucky to be alive!

Authorities report a small airplane was trying to take off from a rural roadway near Quincy around 6:45am Wednesday, when it experienced mechanical issues.

The aircraft, described as only a "small" plane, failed to clear takeoff and crash into a nearby yard, striking the victim.  Sheriff's deputies didn't say if they were a man or woman, but they only suffered minor injuries.

The pilot didn't suffer any injuries. No reason for the mechanical failure was given.
