Thanks to efforts from area Police, Deputies and US Marshals, a wanted murder suspect was apprehended in Kennewick Tuesday afternoon.

28-year-old Marco Lombera was located in Kennewick by US Marshals, he's wanted on a murder charge from what officials said was "another jurisdiction." But as they pulled him over in his car he jumped out and fled on foot,  Deputies from Benton County, Pasco and Richland Police, and a K-9 track led to the 100 block of North Lincoln St.

While searching the area, Lombera was spotted coming out of a home in the 100 block of North Kellogg. He was quickly taken into custody. Benton County Prosecutors are looking into the North Kellogg incident to determine if any additional charges will be filed related to Lombera's activities there.

He is now in the custody of the US Marshals for transport to the jurisdiction where the murder charges were filed.
