Police Still Seeking Suspect Who Stole 96-Year-Old Woman’s Purse
Richland police are now turning to the public to help find the suspect who is accused of stealing a purse belonging to an elderly woman, then using her cards and money on a shopping spree.
Back on July 8th the suspect pictured allegedly walked off with a purse belonging to a 96-year-old woman. She was sitting at the Richland Fred Meyer waiting for a ride.
The suspect and an accomplice too the purse to Walmart and used the woman's cards to buy a case of Marlboro cigarettes. Then they used the stolen credit card at Game Stop to buy a Play Station console. All told, the stolen card was used to run up a $740 bill!
Anyone with any information is urged to call police at (509)-628-0333. All leads are confidential. Let's help catch these people. It's bad enough to steal, but from an elderly woman is even more heinous!
