Porcupine Lost in Leslie Grove Park in Richland

A porcupine was holding up foot traffic on the Leslie Grove Park Trail in Richland this morning around 7 a.m. It appeared to be ill since 1) it wasn't scared of all the joggers and 2) it kept going around and around in a circle. Several calls to animal control at the city, state and federal level were unsuccessful in determining the fate of the poor animal.
In the last few weeks we've seen a bear in Benton City, a moose in Connell and now a porcupine in Richland!
