Prosser City Administrator Quits Without Warning, Had Been on Leave

With little fanfare or information the City of Prosser announced Administrator David Stockdale resigned his position late Tuesday. He had been on administrative leave since late April.

No word was given about why he left, the city is being tight lipped.

However, April 25th information came out that Stockdale was placed on administrative leave, the city's defense attorney said there were misconduct issues. Reportedly, an investigation continues. A City Administrator can oversee a wide variety of duties including planning, budgets, financial, auditing and more. It is not known why he was placed on leave. He had been with the city since January 2016.
