Prostitution ‘Customer’ Fires More Than One Kind of ‘Gun’ In Dispute Over Services
This one had just about everything. Kennewick police were alerted around 5:11am Friday morning to a disturbance at the Day's Inn, located next to the DQ Grill and Chill just off Kennewick Ave. and Highway 395.
Police say when they arrived, they learned a Hispanic man named "Junior" had begun to argue with the two prostitutes because he was unhappy with the 'services rendered.' He allegedly tried to grab one the women's purses and leave. The two struggled, and the fight spilled outside the room into the parking lot.
At that point, the suspect, Junior, allegedly fired a shot into the air with a handgun, then fled in a silver or gold pickup truck. The two women ran back into the room when he fired. Police didn't say if the suspect got away with the purse.
Authorities say the two women both had outstanding warrants and were also arrested for alleged prostitution. Little other information was given about the suspect. The investigation continues.
