Railroad Repairs Will Slow Down US 97 Travel Starting Monday
Drivers traveling on US 97 near Toppenish next week will experience delays due to traffic shifts as emergency repairs are made to the railroad crossing.
You'll be experiencing some slowdown if you are traveling along US 97 all next week.
The Washington DOT released a press release explaining what exactly to expect with the slowdowns.
Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15 the southbound and northbound lanes will be reduced to one lane and shifted around the railroad crossing at the intersections of US 97 and McDonald Road and US 97 and S Martin Road during the day. Drivers need to plan for added travel time through the area.
