According to Bloomberg Financial Times,  House Republicans may accept what is being called a mini deal with Obama over the debt ceiling.

Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Republican Leader John Cornyn said they may accept a limited raising of the debt ceiling to help get a more favorable budget deal done.  According to Federal Financial experts, the US will not be able to meet it's financial obligations after August 2 if the ceiling is not raised. Some Republican leaders said it could be a way to get the budget cuts they want from Obama.  House Republicans, and many in the Senate, are refusing to give in to Obama's calls for tax increases as a way to help deal with government overspending.
