See Something, Say Something has been utilized in many areas of society, especially after 9-11. It's also been heavily pushed in the educational system.
Richland Police Launch New Resource Program
Over the years, including several examples in the Mid-Columbia, students who spoke up to Police, School Resource Officers, or school officials--as well as parents, about potentially threatening behavior they witnessed or heard about have helped prevent much bigger issues.

Now, Richland Police have launched the See Something, Say Something keychain program for Richland and Hanford High Schools.
The Keychains Carry Resource and Emergency Information
According to RPD on their Facebook and other outlets:
"Our SROs are handing out school-specific See Something, Say Something keychains featuring a QR code that connects students directly to RPD’s online tip system."
They are designed to keep this awareness top of mind with students, and to make it easier for them to report a situation that clearly needs to be looked at.
School Resource Officers are Handing Them Out
According to Richland Police, they are available on Wednesdays and Fridays, they urge students to look for the School Resource Officer and get one.
