School Bus Rolls Near Quincy–Injuries Reported

Officials continue to investigate a school bus that rolled this morning near Quincy.

Shortly after 8:20am the bus rolled on Highway 281  just south of town,  officials report one driver and 37 students were on board.  One person was transported by MedStar helicopter to the Quincy hospital, 8-10 other students suffered what were called significant injuries.  Parents were alerted to go to the Quincy hospital, as all the students were taken there.  Apparently the bus driver veered off the road, overcorrected and crashed.   More details are expected throughout the day.
