Oregon State Patrol officials are continuing to search for a missing semi truck and it's driver, and now say new GPS information may have narrowed the search area.

The blue Kenworth semi, driven by 22-year-old Jacob Aaron Cartwright of LaGrande, was last physically Tuesday near Pilot Rock, then the last contact was near Pendleton around 5:30pm the same day.

Friday, OSP officials said GPS from the vehicle, owned by Little Trees Trucking of LaGrande, points to an area not far from and just west of Hilgard State Park Near Highway 244.  This location is less than 12 miles west of LaGrande. He was originally scheduled to make a delivery in Nyssa, OR on April 25th. This latest information was obtained April 26th, Thursday.

Officials say the area of the last GPS is a heavily wooded, very expansive area with very rough terrain. Some additional pictures of the vehicle have been released. Anyone with any information is asked to call (541)-963-1017.
