A second person strongly suspected of being involved in the early Monday morning shooting of a Prosser police officer is now in custody.

Prosser police issued a statement late Monday night saying they requested assistance from the Centralia WA Police department as well as US Marshals and Lewis County SWAT.

Based upon information and their investigation, 19-year-old Isaiah Colley was arrested with help from the SWAT team in Centralia WA .  US Marshals assisted in the investigation. It is not specifically known what exact evidence tied Colley to the 1am shooting that resulted in an officer being hit in the leg. An innocent tenant bystander was also struck by bullets, but both did not sustain life threatening injuries.

The officer was reporting to a 1am Monday morning break in report at the Canyon Park Apartments in Prosser when a suspect, either Colley of Abdiel Vargas, who was being chased, turned and fired a number of rounds. Colley was apprehended Monday night.
