There are several ongoing investigations and the public has yet to learn specifically who's behind all these, but the numbers are staggering.

Franklin County Sheriff's officials said Wednesday the number of confiscated pot plants from various grows around the Northern and Western parts of the county are now reaching at least 25,000!

They range from small 30 plant grows found on the bluffs overlooking the Columbia River, to as as many as 5,000 being pulled out of cornfields.

Officials say it's possible many of these type of grows have been present in the past, but with the use of their Drone Unit, they're much easier to spot from the air.  It is expected more information will be released if investigations do result in charges against people responsible for the grows.
