So far Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies are being mum on who's been growing all this pot, who's responsible, and have not said if any arrests.

But what we do know is that the illegal weed industry in the county has been exploding this year.

Back in August, authorities said the number of illegal plants seized at various operations numbered over 25K. Then another 26K were found at a variety of grows on Hendricks, Juniper, Russel and Olympia Reach roads.

Now, that number total over 70K and at one of the locations, law enforcement found 500 lbs of processed pot ready for shipment and likely distribution.

But still no word on who's responsible. We can only surmise it's due to ongoing investigations.
