Leave it to the "Soda Czar" to use the Connecticut School shooting to crusade against guns.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg called on President Obama to "take immediate action against guns."   How crass!

Bloomberg is the one who spearheaded New York City's ban on soda drinks being sold or served in sizes larger than 16 ounces, now he wants Obama to send a bill to congress to "fix" this problem.    Never mind that Connecticut has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation! Here is part of the Czar's statement:

"But the country needs him (Obama) to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem. Calling for ‘meaningful action’ is not enough. We need immediate action. We have heard all the rhetoric before."

He continued on with meaningless platitudes of sympathy and prayers for the families of the 20 children who died at the elementary school Friday morning.  It would have held some weight had he not callously and stupidly used this shooting as yet another excuse to spout off about his moronic crusade against our 2nd Amendment rights!
