Shooting Claims Life Thursday Night in Kennewick

Not a lot of information has been released due to preliminary investigation, but a person was found fatally shot in Kennewick.

 Thursday night, the victim found dead in road

Around 9:38 PM Kennewick Police responded to multiple calls about gunfire near North Kellogg and Clearwater Ave.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim lying in the road, they were later pronounced dead. It's presumed they were fatally shot, but Police did not say how many wounds.

The gender, name, and other information of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family and relatives.

  A second person rushed to an area hospital

KPD says a second person was taken to an area hospital for further medical attention, but police did not say how they were injured.
