Short-Haired Thief Tries Getting Haircut to ‘Hide’ From Cops
Richland police apprehended a theft suspect, who tried to use the alibi he was 'getting a haircut' at a nearby salon.
Police say the 44-year-old man was wanted in connection from a theft at a Richland store Monday. He fled the location, and apparently went into a nearby hair salon. Although the name of the store was not revealed, it appears to be the Winco at the south end of Richland on GW Way.
Police were able to follow him there, his excuse for not committing the theft was he was getting a haircut. That didn't work too well, because police say he already had extremely short cropped hair already.
Jason Mackebon was taken into custody in connection with the theft. He matched the suspect seen on store video.
Haircuts only work for disguise if you're going from Fabio to drill instructor, really.
