Proof that citizens tips do help and pay off.

Pasco Police say a Richland resident who saw the news story about the backhoe stolen from near Road 68 and Sandifur tipped them off about it's potential wherabouts.

The citizen saw a backhoe matching the description of the stolen unit in Richland, and upon investigation by Richland and Pasco Police, it was. No other details released except that it's back on the jobsite with it's rightful owners.

As for the suspects, all Pasco Police would say is "the clock is ticking..."  Crime makes you stupid? Storing a large stolen piece of equipment in front of everyone's eyes is stupid.
