No doubt KPD and other agencies watching social media for sale sites, in an attempt to locate this wanted suspect.

Kennewick Police are seeking tips to locate 32-year-old Charles J. Miller, aka "CJ," who is wanted in connection with issues-crimes involving possession and trafficking of stolen property.

Police didn't specify exactly the property in question, but apparently enough of an issue that they're seeking additional tips from the public.

Police say his last known residence was in the 600 block of South Buntin in Kennewick; he has also been associated with some locations in Richland.

Anyone who may have information about his whereabouts is urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.

While social media sale sites are being used to fence or sell stolen property, many citizens are fighting back.

When people find they have property taken from their vehicles or homes, they often begin to scour these same social media pages looking for their goods. Often, it works. In the last week, Kennewick Police, for example, were able to locate an expensive bike reported stolen by a citizen.

Pictures of the bike were provided to officers after the victim noticed their bike was being offered for sale. The KPD Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) set up a mini sting which resulted in a search warrant for the seller's storage shed, and the bike was recovered.
