Suspect, Truck Sought in Attempted Theft of ATM in Richland

Richland Police are seeking to locate and ID this truck, and its driver.

Pickup sought in connection with attempted ATM theft

Early Friday morning, Police were called to investigate the attempted theft of an entire outdoor machine from the HAPO branch at 631 Gage Boulevard. 

The attempt took place around 12:45 AM,  a witness told officers the driver (and suspects?) wrapped a chain around the base of the heavy unit, and tried to pull it away, but failed.

Nothing was taken from the machine, but it ended up being badly damaged. Police didn't say if the driver was able to pry it loose from the ground, or if it got dragged.

 Anyone who may know who drives this truck?

"white, extended cab Ford F-250 truck with a large ladder rack over the bed."
