Suspected Burglar-Car Thief Smashes Car Into Pasco Police Cruiser
A Pasco suspect is facing a lot of charges after deciding it was smart to ram an occupied Pasco Police cruiser.
Thursday evening Police corral burglar-car theft suspect after crash
Around 9:30 PM Pasco Officers responded to a report of a burglary-stolen vehicle. They located the suspect car in the Walmart parking lot.
But when they attempted to close in, the suspect rammed his car head-on into Sgt. Decker's clearly marked patrol unit while Decker was still moving towards him.
Pasco Police didn't elaborate, but it's presumed the perp abandoned the car and fled on foot because K-9 Zador was brought in and able to locate and help "subdue" and apprehend the man.
Sgt. Decker, fortunately, did not suffer serious injuries but required a checkout and care for minor injuries at a nearby hospital. Honestly, here's hoping Zador had some 'fun' with the suspect considering he could have hurt the officer badly.
