SWAT Bearcat Parks in Pasco Backyard Until Bad Guy Surrenders
I'm pretty sure if I win the lottery I will own one of these police Bearcats. Imagine how handy an armored vehicle would be in say...the Costco parking lot! And since they cost Police Departments about $300,000, I'll pretty much need to win the lottery to get one.
The Bearcat is based on the Ford F-550 Super Duty chassis as you will see in the video below. Surrounded with full armor and bulletproof windows, this has certainly saved police lives.
One of these awesome machines came in very handy in Pasco on Tuesday. Residents reported shots fired so the Pasco Police Department mowed down The back fence and parked in the guy's backyard! The suspect finally gave up and no one was hurt.
