SWAT Team Subdues Stubborn Break-In Suspect in Franklin County

Daylight burglar in north Franklin County pried out of the building by SWAT team
Monday, around 3 PM Franklin County Deputies responded to a burglary call on Aubert Road, in the northern part of the county.
The property-homeowner discovered a male suspect inside one of their buildings and called 9-1-1. The location is about five miles west of Connell, close to Highway 17.
Upon arrival, Deputies found the man, whose name was not released, was still inside and refused to come out.
SWAT Team 'persuades' the perp to give up
Once the SWAT Team showed up, he changed his mind and surrendered without incident. Officers learned he already had a couple of outstanding arrest warrants, so now he's got even more on the legal laundry list to keep him in jail.
The perp knocked out a couple of windows to get inside, the investigation continues.
