Benton County Inmates Take Advantage of Soups for Shots Program

Some say it's warranted, others say this is an 'excuse,' using the allegations of abuse to railroad Sheriff out of office.

I personally have never visited anyone at the Benton County jail so maybe I'm just naive but I was surprised to find out that is costs money to visit an inmate!

Benton County authorities have identified the 40-year-old man who died in jail Wednesday evening, and said he was being monitored every 30 minutes due to a medical conditiion.

September 20th, an inmate at the Benton County jail collapsed and staff were unable to revive him.
