Although Richland, Pasco and Kennewick have indefinite bans on the growth, processing and sale of marijuana, and are likely to stay that way, it's legal in the rest of Benton County.
Since they were first discovered in February, a huge tire dump at the end of East Game Farm Road in Finley is now going to potentially result in fines and even jail time for the property owner. A portion of the dump is pictured here. Numerous such piles are on the property.
If you missed the story, a horrible tragedy occurred in central Finley late Friday night. A man blew through a stop sign while crossing Chemical Drive colliding with another vehicle. Several people were hurt including a 3-year-old child. More details reveal even deeper tragedy:
