With the WHL putting place their COVID protocols concerning positive test within the Americans team, the next few games are up in the air for next weekend.
The Tri-City Americans are off to a great start in a shortened 2020-21 WHL season. They took the Portland Winterhawks to overtime on Thursday and sent them out of Toyota Center empty-handed with 48.3 seconds left in overtime.
It didn't seem like this was Tri-City's first game in 375 games...
The Red Deer Rebels, Edmonton Oil Kings, Lethbridge Hurricanes, Medicine Hat Tigers, and Calgary Hitmen will form the Central Division, and play each other beginning Feb. 26.
Friday, the OHL confirmed no body checking when it resumes play February 4. the WHL, TC Ams, slated to return to ice January 8. No word on anything like that in WHL.
