After the last effort to build new schools and refurbish others failed, Pasco voters might again be asked to pass a bond, perhaps as early as November.
You probably remember The Link, the ambitious project that would have renovated and added much needed space to the Three Rivers Convention Center. It would have also remodeled the aging Toyota Center, and would have been paid for by a sales tax. Now, a revamped version of the project will be in front of voters not too far down the road.
The top two candidates who emerged from the Washington State Primary election both appear to possibly be ready to empty the state's coffers in order to appease the controversial McCleary Supreme Court decision on funding public education.
