Target Store Dressing Room Peeping Suspect Sought By Police
UPDATE: This charge was vacated in February 2024 by the Benton County Superior Court.
Kennewick police are seeking a suspect who allegedly placed a cellphone under the door of a dressing room where a woman and her small child were trying on clothes. Based upon security images, the incident occurred at the Kennewick Target store. (the orange shopping carts and equipment).
Police say the suspect, described as a man in his later 20's or early 30's, followed the woman around the store, then while she and her 2-year-old daughter were in the dressing room, placed a cellphone face up just under the door. It appeared the intent was to video the two while trying on clothes. Here the suspect is seen heading for the door by the cart area.
Police say the woman confronted the suspect who then ran out of the store. He's also described as fairly tall, with a distinct bald spot on the top back of his head.
