TC Ams split in Spokane-fall 6-3 Sunday

In the playoffs, each game is night and day...one day after dominating Spokane 3-1, the TC Americans found a different story in Spokane Sunday.

Penalties proved to be costly for Tri City.  After tying the game 1-1, in the second the Ams gave up three goals, with Spokane aided by a 5 on 3 situation and other flagrancies.  Drew Owsley had a tough night with several pucks with eyes.  Games three and four will take place tuesday April 14th, Thursday April 16th..and next Sunday.  All three games at Toyota Center.  Listen in on Newstalk 870 KFLD.  Sunday's game marked the debut of Ams #1 Draft Pick Eric Comrie, considered the top goalie prospect in North America for his age group.  Comrie gave up one goal in a 5 on 3 but turned aside numerous shots as the Chiefs were busy throwing the puck at the net in the 3rd period. Comrie took over for Drew Owsley in the 3rd period.
