Not only are these guys not so bright because their mugs are directly on camera, they didn't really steal anything of value.

Tri-Cities Crimestoppers are seeking two suspects who allegedly stole a video camera from Vista Elementary School (where my daughter Harley goes!).   The camera is virtually worthless, because unless it's sold on the black market,   it contained unremovable identification marks that will make it impossible to fence at any pawn shop - school district property.    No word from officials if this was part of a two-stage operation, where the suspects would remove the camera to allow future undetected entry into the school.

The theft took placed around 8:20 pm this last Saturday from the school, located at 1701 North Young St. in Kennewick,   across the street from Lithia Dodge, just off Canal.

Authorities say any information leading to the apprehension of these suspects can result in a cash reward.   All tips are anonymous.  You can call (509)-586-TIPS (8477).

Suspect #2 pictured as well

UPDATE - According to authorities in Kennewick, the two suspects have been positively identified, although their names were not released.  It will probably not be long before they are in custody.
