Tri-City Americans Announce Season Opener Date vs. Spokane

This season, the season opener for the 2015-16 WHL season will be a little later than in the past.

The Americans will double up vs. U.S. Division opponents, starting with the home opener vs. Spokane on Saturday October 3rd at 7:05pm. The club will then take on Seattle Sunday October 4, with a 5:05pm puck drop.

The Americans and Chiefs have faced off the last five years in a row in the Am's home opener, this will make it six straight.  Over the last five years, the Am's are 2-3 in their home opening games.
