Did you know that several high-profile TV shows have been filmed in Washington?

With the rise of streaming, more and more people are watching TV. Streaming services like Netflix and Hulu have more and more people working in the television and film industry, and those film crews are spreading out beyond just Los Angeles. With Amazon, HBO Max, Disney+, Paramount, and Peacock in the mix, even more shows are being created that don't have to go to cable or network TV. This means the possibilities are nearly endless.

Historically, TV shows are primarily shot in studios in Hollywood with exterior shots being on-location. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is like this. Believe it or not, the exterior of Paddy's Pub is actually in Los Angeles.
