One of the weekends that I look forward to each year is the Adam West celebration in Walla Walla that's become an annual tradition but sadly it's been canceled for 2020.

COVID-19 takes out another event and this time it's Adam West Day that was going into its fourth year of celebration.

The organizers posted this message on their Facebook page:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce all live events in Walla Walla are being canceled for the Fourth Annual Adam West Day 2020 that was taking place on September 19th. This was not an easy decision to make but definitely necessary to protect the health of the general public. We do plan, however, on some possible online virtual celebrations so stay tuned for upcoming news!!!!!

Adam West fans can get excited that it looks like there will be some sort of a virtual celebration that will help soothe the disappointment of fans which is one silver lining with the cancellation.

Previous Adam West Day's featured the Batmobile, The Batcopter, and a virtual phone call from Burt Ward who played Robin on the 1960's TV show.
