Want to ‘Track’ (Watch) Santa Travel the Globe? Here’s How!
NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) has been keeping an eye on everything that flies (and we mean EVERYTHING) for decades.
They're the folks deep in the bunkers in the mountains of Colorado and elsewhere, primarily due to the Cold War and other military observations. But since 1955, they've also been watching something a lot more fun than Soviet military (and other) aircraft.
Santa! NORAD came up with the lighthearted idea of allowing children to 'watch' as Santa circled the globe delivering goodies. Now, especially with the internet, your children can check in and see where he is. We do it, it's cool. "Hey Santa is over the Eastern Seaboard right now...!"
