Weekend Armed Robbery Suspect Still on Loose in Kennewick

Search continues for armed robbery suspect at Kennewick convenience store

Around 4:45 AM Saturday morning, an armed male entered the Total Stop Conoco at 813 West Columbia Drive and flashed a gun at the clerk.

The suspect demanded cash and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount (rarely is the dollar amount ever revealed).

Fortunately, the clerk was not harmed. Police arrived quickly and set up a perimeter and searched but did not find the perp.

They also checked with several other area convenience stores, as lately these incidents have been happening in 'groups.' Numerous times, suspects have robbed one store, then moved onto another in the area, then another.

So far it's being viewed as an 'isolated' incident, with no threat to the general public. No description of the suspect has been released yet.
