West Richland Car Prowler Arrested After Pulling Gun on Victim
Back on August 7, we reported about the quartet of Kennewick car prowlers, who allegedly fired shots at a person who interrupted their burglaries near 4th and Rainier.
Now, in West Richland, a 22-year-old man is in custody after allegedly pulling a gun on a witness early Thursday morning.
West Richland Police say Miguel Naranjo is in jail after a 3AM incident. Police were called to the area of Bing and 38th by a citizen who saw him rummaging through a neighbor's vehicle he'd broken into. The citizen told police the suspect pulled a gun on him, then fled.
Officers from West Richland, Kennewick, Richland and Benton and Franklin County Deputies and the SWAT Team assisted in locating and surrounding Naranjo, who was located a few blocks away. He's facing assault and vehicle prowl charges.
The investigation continues.
