Thursday afternoon, around 1pm, and for the rest of the afternoon, traffic was diverted to one lane over the Blue Bridge Northbound.

It seems crews working on repairing a broken section of guardrail, that when we went by, was in pretty bad shape.

The section appeared to be at least 15-20 feet long, and crews were re-securing the large wooden timber sections that held up the metal rails.

Traffic coming down Highway 395 from Kennewick was having to merge with Highway 240 just after the overpass by the roundabout, and lots of horns were heard.

But once you got back onto the bridge, things at least moved faster then 10 miles per hour.

It's part of a lengthy paving and construction project on the road as it passes through Pasco.
