Multiple reports came in saying there was a car near Columbia Center Boulevard and 10th Ave. that was swerving into oncoming traffic, and also hitting the curb multiple times.
Officers quickly responded and were able to surround the car as it slowed and pulled over. The car finally stopped near 10th and Johnson after almost hitting a KPD patrol cruiser.
But as Officers investigated, they quickly found the driver was not inebriated in any way, but having what they said was a "medical issue" while behind the wheel.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, and the person was able to be checked by medical personnel. As of the last word, they are OK.
