
Another Brush Fire Closes Part of Highway 225 Near Benton City Tuesday Afternoon
Residents are being evacuated from an area near Benton City, due to a fire.
The Wagon Wheel Fire has Closed SR 225
When first reported, it was said to be about an acre, fire crews were called to the 3700 block of Wagon Wheel Private Road NW aboutg the blaze. The crews were called shortly after noon Tuesday.
Reportedly 2 homes are threatened, possibly more, and area residents are being evacuated, according to Benton County Fire Crews.

According to various reports, Highway 225 has been closed by fire crews request until the fire can be managed. June 14 was the last big fire in the close region, it consumed five homes and 17 other buildings along with over 800 acres near the Old Inland Empire Highway.
