PNW Winter Storm Warning for 4"-6" of Snow, Ice, & Freezing Rain

Winter Storm Alerts are in effect for the PNW into Monday afternoon. Early morning travelers encountered slippery road conditions in Tri-Cities and beyond.

I-90 near the Snoqualmie Pass Summit was closed for a while due to multiple spin-outs and collisions.

According to our News partners at NBC Right Now, Tri-Cities could see up to 3 inches of accumulation. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect till 3 pm. The areas include the Foothills of the Blue Mountains, Yakima Valley, And Lower Columbia Basin of Washington.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the passes and Eastern slopes with up to 5 inches accumulation possible. For the Blue Mountains, delays and closures are predicted above 3,000 feet, as 3-6 inches are possible. The Winter Storm Warning is in effect till 7 pm. If you plan to travel, you're advised to expect delays and have chains.
