Would-Be Gun ‘Buyer’ Loads, Aims, Misfires Pistol at Workers

Kennewick Police are searching for a middle-aged suspect who likely scared the you-know-what out of some store workers.

MAN ENTERS UNNAMED BUSINESS, ASKS TO SEE A WEAPON

This man, say Kennewick Police, entered the business on Wed. February 7th,,  and asked the worker(s) at the gun counter to see a certain weapon--a handgun.

The name of the store was not given by Police.

He behaved as anyone would who is looking at perhaps buying one. But what happened next was bizarre.

 THE MAN LOADED THE GUN AND POINTED IT AT WORKERS

The man loaded the pistol, then pointed it in the direction of several employees. and pulled the trigger a few times. However, the weapon did not fire, luckily.

We're wondering why the man was allowed to load it in the first place? When you're looking to buy a firearm, and they let you examine it, I've never seen them supply you with BULLETS to load it with.

The man then quickly set the gun on the counter and swiftly walked out of the store.

He's described as a bit of a taller, grey-haired male, likely in 50's or older, wearing a mixed denim sweatshirt and jeans.
