Stay on the Dutton’s Yellowstone Ranch (For Real) in Montana. Get the Scoop.
I'm always late to the party. But, I am glad I finally made it to the Dutton Party in Montana. My co-workers were always talking about the series Yellowstone. You know...with Kevin Costner.
One co-worker described the series perfectly. Dynasty on a ranch. Liken it to Knots Landing back on the Southfork Ranch of Dallas. I am completely hooked.
And now, I can't get enough of Yellowstone.
Did you know you can stay on the ranch where Yellowstone is filmed? It's an actual working ranch in Darby, Montana. I searched it out on Facebook. It's definitely worth the drive from Tri-Cities! Let's road-trip!
There's a message on the Chief Joseph Ranch website that says "2021 is fully booked." But...you can make future reservations! Yippee!! I wonder if you can stay in the main house. I have so many questions. Just as you do.
Chief Joseph Ranch is located at 125 Appaloosa Trail in Darby, Montana 59829. According to the website, the ranch was run as a bed and breakfast from 2004-2012. When the owner-family purchased the ranch, they closed the bed and breakfast and the lodge is now the family home. So, you cannot stay at the lodge. It's occupied.
However, you can stay in Rip's cabin from Season 1 and Kayce's cabin from Season 2. That's good for me. Both cabins sleep 8 and have a kitchen and a grill. Cabins currently rent for $1,200-$1,500 a night.
Talk about a vacation plan. Sign me up. What about you? Let's go stay on the Dutton's Yellowstone Ranch!
