Although the report says it's likely due to  natural causes, it seems like a lot of 'guests' at the Two Rivers Correctional Center are dying off.

Authorities say a standard investigation has been launched into the discovery of 52-year-old Michael Louis Shaw, who was found unresponsive in his bed around 5:45am Friday morning.

Shaw, who was serving a sentence for sex abuse and mistreatment out of Marion County, had been in the Umatilla Prison since 2002. His earliest release date would have been 2025.

Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead just after 6:30am. As per protocol, all deaths of inmates, even believed to natural causes, are investigated. No other information has been released. Shaw is the fifth inmate to die at the facility just outside of Umatilla since March 2015. Prior to him, the most recent was April 26th.
