The family of a young girl who was mauled at the Portland Airport are seeking $1.1 million dollars in a lawsuit against the Port of Portland and Alaska Airlines...

The family was at PDX waiting for a flight to visit family in Texas on Dec. 18, 2017, the little girl named Gabriella, who was 5 at the time of the attack had permission from the dog's owner to pet it. The dog which is a pit bull viciously attacked the girl leaving her scarred for life...

The family alleges that the Portland Airport and Alaska Airlines allowed a dangerous animal into the gate area not in a crate. The lawsuit also names the dog's owner as a defendant claiming she knew or should have known her that her dog was a danger to the public.

The family is seeking $1.1 Million Dollars because the girl underwent surgery to repair her wounds and is permanently scarred. Her injuries included: a punchered eyelid, a severed  tear duct, and a  laceration to her face and a torn  lip.
