Police Arrest 14 Year Old for Arson After 4 Fires!

Kennewick police believe they have found the suspect responsible for at least four fires.

Police say the boy is responsible for fires at the following locations:

• 3908 South Palouse  Place,  Friday October 18th. That fire destroyed enough of a single family home that the four occupants are now displaced.
• 4457 South Palouse Street, September 16, 2013. This fire occurred at a new under-construction home.
• 1500 West 40th Place, September 15th, 2013. Police say this blaze happened at a vacant foreclosed home.
• 1520 West 40th Place, December 8th, 2012. This fire occurred at an occupied residence last December.

The boy was booked into the Benton County Juvenile Center on four counts of arson.  There have been several other fires in the area, however, that police say are unrelated.
