Two men and a woman are in the Benton County jail facing felony assault charges, stemming from apparently refusing to surrender a vehicle after failing to follow through with their end of the bargain on it's sale. .

Saturday afternoon, a Department of Fish and Wildlife official met up with 46-year-old Leon R. Sauers and 58-year-old Ralph J. Davis. Sauers had what he said was a broken arm and visible facial injuries, according to KNDU-TV.

The two told the official they'd gone to pick up a vehicle from a civil agreement (probably a sale) that had fallen through. But instead of getting their vehicle back, they were allegedly assaulted by Jarred Rafe Logan Stroh and Jack Stroh on West Yakitat Road near Benton City.

The Stroh's allegedly fired a shotgun twice, and struck Sauers with the butt of the gun. Davis was hit by a pipe, but didn't suffer injuries. The Stroh's are in jail facing 1st. Degree Assault charges. Britnee Nicole Haynes-Walker was also involved and is facing 2nd. Degree charges.
