Dem. Senator Calls TEA Party “Cult Fringe”

Senator Tom Harkin threw gas on the budget fire today by calling TEA Party members (including legislators who were swept into office on the TEA Party platform) a "cult fringe".

Harkin, speaking at a press conference, went on to call the GOP "dead beat debtors", obviously forgetting his party's president has increased the nation's defecit more than any other in US History.  Watch his comments here, courtesy of Real Clear Politics.
