Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over ended up nailing 122 motorists during the 2013 holiday season.

According to the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission, the holiday emphasis patrols between November 27th and January 1st 2014 ended with 122 drivers in the two counties being arrested for DUI.  Statewide, those numbers reached 2723.

Last year, 110 Benton-Franklin motorists were arrested.  Officers from Richland, Pasco, Kennewick, West Richland,.  Benton and Franklin county Sheriffs and Washington State Patrol participated in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over patrols.

These and other emphasis patrols are part of the WTSC's  Target Zero program, which hopes to bring DUI related deaths to -0- in Washington state by the year 2030.
