The attorney who was originally booted off a lawsuit filed in the Zambrano case has now refiled a federal complaint against the City of Pasco. (Pictured is one of the rocks thrown by Zambrano).

The Trejo Law Firm of Yakima has filed a $25 million dollar federal suit against the city on behalf of the family of Antonio Zambrano, who was fatally shot in February by police after throwing rocks at cars, passers-by and police near 10th and Lewis.

The suit includes the City, the Police Chief and the officers involved. The suit claims use of unlawful and unreasonable force based upon the 4th and 14th. Amendments of the Constitution, and other complaints.

The suit asks for $25 million dollars.  Attorney George P. Trejo Jr. is the operator of the Trejo Law firm.  He originally filed a suit against the City three days after the shooting, but it was later withdrawn by Tacoma Attorney Charles Herrman, who criticized the suit for it's lack of preparation, timeliness and other factors.  Herrman, for a time, had taken over representation of the Zambrano family-survivors.
